HOW TO CLEAN YOUR SAFETY RAZOR

When you purchase a well-made safety razor, you are making an investment for a better shave. Your safety razor should last you for many years, a lifetime with proper care. So how do you clean a safety razor?

After each use, your razor gets build up of soap, oil as well as debris from dead skin. Over time, it loses its shine and prevent the razor from giving you a good shave. So, the best way to prevent that from happening is to clean your safety razor regularly! At Shash For Men, we recommend a quick clean every time you use your razor by simply rising your razor thoroughly with warm water and wiping it clean with a dry towel.

For deeper cleaning take apart your razor weekly or monthly depending on how often you shave. Using a soft toothbrush and hot soapy water and brush away any residue. Using a clean hand towel, dry the razor and buff it to a shine

Keeping your razor clean and dry will ensure it lasts a lifetime and look its best!

HOW TO MAINTAIN YOUR SHAVING BRUSH

At Shash For Men, we believe in maintaining your shaving brush so it can last you for many years. After all, when you invest in a quality badger brush, you are investing in the finest grades of badger hair, particularly suited for shaving with traditional soaps and creams. So how do you maintain your badger brush?

When you first purchase your badger brush, we recommend that you wash it gently with warm soapy water. Be prepared, some hairs will be loose and come off for the first few weeks. Place the shaving brush on a holder facing down. Before storing, it is important to allow the brush to dry thoroughly as leaving it damp can damage the brush.

When using the brush, wet thoroughly before use. Dip in shaving cream or soap and gently leather using a light circular or up-and-down motion. Avoid applying too much pressure on the brush as this will cause the brush to damage.

Rinse thoroughly after each use with clean, warm water.

Flick excess water and place brush facing down in a stand to dry naturally. If you do not have a stand, place horizontally on a clean dry towel and let it air dry naturally.
